Wet strength agent (PAE papermaking wet strength agent)

I. Introduction
    PAE papermaking wet strength agent, a kind of water-soluble cationic thermosetting resin, is a new environmental wet strength agent after melamine formaldehyde resin. It can be used in neutral, alkalescence and acidic situation and has synergistic effect on AKD sizing.

II. Application
   This product is suitable for decorative body paper, napkin, photo body paper, filter paper, tea bag paper, titanium dioxide paper, wallpaper, map paper, maritime map paper, original coated paper, medical paper, corrugated paper, locker paper, germinating paper, packing paper for meat, vegetable and liquid food, etc. It can not only increase the wet strength property but also increase the dry strength and can be used as retention agent and filter.

IV. Matters need attention
1. Avoid direct mixture with anionic matters.
2. The hardness of water should not be too high for Ca2+, Mg2+ have effect on PAE.
3. For PAE has the function of retention and filter that will affect the whiteness of pulp, slightly increase the dosage of whitening agent can solve the problem.
